FRIENDS OF PRAIRIE CREEK

The Engeseth-Rinde farm is in the process of being restored from farmland to its historical ecosystems. Due to the hydrologic and topographic features of the farm, some areas have been identified by the DNR as being fit for wetland restoration. Future quantitative and qualitative evaluations of the sites will inform the progression of the restoration. If a successful restoration is completed, the wetland ecosystem will be able to provide valuable ecosystem services to the farm as well as educational opportunities for the community.
